November 18th, 2025
Hi everyone! It’s been a good long time since I last posted. I have been busy hand-holding a company that should not need hand-holding at all, to do their routine job. It’s been frustrating and at times, exhausting. However we do what we need to do, right? Working with people who can’t or won’t follow through in a timely manner, give you deadlines that never actually happen when they say they will, and don’t appear concerned about it – is enormously frustrating. Phase one of that is almost complete and then we will move on to phase two, with more assistance. After that I’ll switch who I am working with and get two more stages of a large project rolling along. I am fairly sure the phases in 2026 will roll along smoothly, because I had a choice in who I work with and we did pre-hiring interviews. I am grateful to have good family and friends to help me stay balanced, because every time I planned something artsy or “right up my alley” for myself as stress relief, the group had to reschedule! At least I was striving for balance, even if it did not happen.
So I’m doing my best to keep my vision clear on what matters, while posting and telling different organizations and people how much they help my world and the world at large. This is the month where we should work on an attitude of gratitude. (Title, drink!)
We had some wonderful light, steady rain for about a week. While we needed it A LOT and it didn’t cause any damage in our area, I did miss the sun, which is back with blue skies today. The plants and I are soaking it up with delight. A good sign to get my exercise routine back on track also.
Collecting memories to share over the next several years and working to improve, repair and update our home has kept me delightfully occupied. I hope to get those items wrapped up before the actual holidays, so that I can focus on family.
What are you most grateful for this month? Is it time? Friends? Family? Health? Creative projects? Leaders who make life a little easier? Adventure? Skill building? The list goes on and on. It is my hope you can find something(s) to be grateful for before we dive headlong into December with the New Year just around the corner!
Until then, peace, kindness and laughter for you and yours.
